چکیده

Abstract Giardia duodenalis is one of the world's most common intestinal parasites, with an estimated 280 million cases globally each year. Infections can cause diarrhea and cramps, although they are often subclinical. Interestingly, have a protective effect reduce incidence fatal in co-infections other enteric pathogens. In this study, we investigate anti-inflammatory response to via macrophage galactose lectin-type 1 (MGL1) receptor. Our reasons for choosing receptor three-fold: it expressed on macrophages some dendritic cells plays role immune pathogens, has been shown induce effects DSS colitis model, demonstrably binds galactose-containing carbohydrates, like N-Acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) present cell wall cysts. We show that peritoneal isolated from wildtype C57BL/6 mice produce markedly more cytokine IL-10 when stimulated lipopolysaccharide (LPS) extract compared LPS alone. The potentiated lost MGL1 knockout or extracts centrifuged at 10,000 X g. Elucidating pathway not only promises better understanding giardiasis, which disproportionately affect lower-middle income communities. also might opportunities mimic parasite treatment wide array inflammatory diseases. IL-10 and IL-12 Production in Response to Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Total Lipid Antigens in Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis

Background: Mycobacterium tuberculosis lipid antigens take part in pathogenicity of the bacterium but the response of monocytes/macrophages to these antigens in tubercu-losis is not well known. Objective: The aim of current investigation was to study the M. tuberculosis lipid antigens in tuberculosis pathogenesis. Methods: In the present study M. tuberculosis lipid antigens were extracted. Mono...

Colonic production and expression of IL-4, IL-6, and IL-10 in neonatal suckling rats after LPS challenge.

It has been demonstrated that the neonatal suckling rat is more susceptible to endotoxin [lipopolysaccharide (LPS)]-induced colonic damage compared with weaned littermates. There is evidence to suggest that differences in the production of certain cytokines, including interleukin (IL)-4, IL-6, and IL-10, are associated with intestinal inflammation in children. We have examined the production, l...

VIP limits LPS-induced nitric oxide production through IL-10 in NOD mice macrophages.

The spontaneous non obese diabetic (NOD) mouse model of Sjögren's syndrome provides a valuable tool to study the onset and progression of both autoimmune response and secretory dysfunction. Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a neuro and immunopeptide with prosecretory effect in salivary glands and anti-inflammatory actions in various models of autoimmune disease. Our purpose was to analyze ...

Commensal microbiota induce LPS hyporesponsiveness in colonic macrophages via the production of IL-10.

Several subsets of innate immune cells, all with unique properties, reside within the intestinal lamina propria. However, compared with intestinal dendritic cells (DCs), intestinal macrophages are less well characterized. In this study, we examined the properties of macrophages in the colonic lamina propria (LMφ). Colonic DCs (LDC) showed LPS-induced production of IL-12p40. In contrast, LMφ sho...
